Kevin Caffrey - Project Control The aim of good design is to design the problems out at the drawing board stage. The task of a good Project Manager is to smooth out the build process, preventing problems from creeping back in and maximising the clients budget spend. Controlling suppliers of graphics, furniture, audio-visual equipment and telecoms lines is a task best taken on board by a project manager with the experience to deal with the challenges of the job. Few clients have the luxury, the time or the inclination to spend hours organising these requirements. Therefore the most economical solution is to ensure that a designated project manager will buy best, buy wisely and buy with confidence based on years of experience, acting in the client's best interests.
